CDC Shrimp (Andersen) |

CDC Shrimp, originated by Michael Anderson and named for the life-like material used for the legs, is now well-known as a highly productive fly. This pattern came from the excellent book by Ken Hanley Fly Fishing the Pacific Inshore. Mr. Hanley mentions it as a good fly for Pink Salmon and suggests fishing it in the estuaries and around kelp beds. It is meant to be suggestive of euphasiid shrimp. |
